Oakwood 26th Invites

We’re excited to introduce to you Oakwood 26th, a cosy window art gallery at the heart of medieval Bruges, Belgium.

We are Dieex Bitegets ‘Imana and Esther Cornelis, respectively born in Goma (Congo) and Bruges (Belgium). Both being artists, we are currently living and working in Bruges.

We’ve always felt passionately about fellow artists connecting and supporting eachother, from the bottom up.

Already since some time now you can find our work at our window display. Maybe you’ve passed by and noticed we change our display every once in a while?

Starting from the month of March ‘22, we invite four external artists to Oakwood 26th.

We’ll create a whole new window display each month, together with @mlezi_atelier and @e.j.cornelis at Eekhoutstraat 26 8000 Brugge.

For the month of March, we start with inviting photographer Hans Borg.

Hans Borg is a Belgian autodidactic photographer. Borg has an eye for detail that finds beauty in the average and often raw Belgian harbor.

He translates his surroundings into unusual and almost unrecognizable images.

Pay us a visit starting the 1st of March, and see how the work of @mlezi_atelier @e.j.cornelis and @hans_borg interacts with eachother!
